Alpine No Itch Shampoo

A gentle, soothing treatment shampoo with the innovative Swiss ingredient MYRAMAZE®, a registered ingredient owned by Rahn in Zurich.  

This shampoo combines the highest quality blend of natural moisturisers, soothing botanical extracts such as Myrothamnus flabellifolia and Bearberry, pure essential oils and Ichthyol Pale®. It revitalises damaged skin, rehydrates and strengthens the skin barrier.  The skin is relaxed, hydrated and soothed. The coat is clean and shiny.

It can also be used as a relaxation treatment for the skin and coat after exposure to the sun.

The CONCEPT: 
Learned from nature: Rapid skin regeneration through membrane stabilisation. In the desert environment of South Africa, Myrothamnus flabellifolia is a resilient resurrection plant with a unique adaptation strategy: it defies its extreme environment by surviving long, hot periods of drought in a completely desiccated state and growing again within a few hours of the first raindrop. 
This resurrection effect can also be transferred to the skin: MYRAMAZE®.
The established use of quinicacid derivatives (Myrothamnus flabellifolia) is to combat allergic reactions and heal burns and wounds. 
It is also used to protect skin lipids (cell membrane and extracellular lipid matrix) from oxidation and to protect cell membranes from damage caused by desiccation. 

Arbutin (bearberry plant) is a glycoside; a glycosylated hydroquinone extracted from the bearberry plant. The bearberry plant has sun protection properties.

Other active ingredients are micronutrients such as polyphenols and trehalose. Polyphenols are rich in antioxidants. Trehalose is a natural alpha-linked disaccharide. It influences the ability of plants and animals to withstand prolonged periods of drought. It has a high water retention capacity.
